When the shipping company¡¯s officials came aboard to inspect the ship before its departure, the three stowaways hid in sacks on a deck.
Seeing the sacks on the deck, an official prodded the first with a stick, to verify its contents.
The Englishman who was inside the particular sack yelped like a puppy, and the official moved on to the next sack, saying: ¡°Just a sack of puppies!¡±
The official then prodded the second sack and this caused the Scotsman inside to mew like a kitten.
¡°Just a sack of kittens!¡± the official said, and proceeded to prod the third sack.
¡°Just a sack of Sudoku booklets,¡± said the Irishman, inside, helpfully.
